How is this different than standard ELT/ETL or iPaaS?

Traditional ELT/ETL have focused on 'synchronizing apps', giving the ability to map data from one application to another– but with a lot of functional limitations. Those apps need to come from a list of pre-built connectors or APIs; the data processes are focused on 'grabbing and dropping' the data into a data lake or a warehouse– lacking a high functional data transformation while its being processed; they aren't designed to deliver within milliseconds into Production level systems with zero errors; nor do they offer zero-data loss audit functionality, as they deprecate the data by default in 7 days or less. Want to look back at comprehensive view? You can't. Want to be able to adjust configurations and monitor errors easily? You can't. In other words, ETL can be fine for some jobs, but in most situations, it falls short.
